Queen Elizabeth won't take the imperial salute during the Trooping the Color march.

The motorcade is held every year to stamp the sovereign's birthday authoritatively. 

It's essential for the 96-year-old's Platinum Jubilee festivities this year,

which denotes her seventy years on the privileged position.

The celebrations will occur on June 2.
