How To Set Up Twitch Drops For Guaranteed Overwatch 2 Beta Access

Okay, so you didn’t get an email inviting you to the first Overwatch 2 beta.

That stinks, but don’t worry! You can still make it in through a Twitch Drops campaign that Twitch is running.

This is only currently scheduled for today, April 27.

Blizzard might still invite more people to the beta via email,

but the Drops are a guaranteed way to make it in.

I’ve written about the Drops campaign already,

but I’ve heard from a few readers that they’re not sure what to do. So, I figured I’d whip up a guide.

Before we get started, it’s worth checking whether your PC will be able to run the Overwatch 2 beta.

In case you’re unaware,

Twitch is a service where people livestream gameplay and broadcast other content to their viewers.

If you don’t already have one, you’ll need a Twitch account.

You can sign up for one on the Twitch website.

If, say, you’re a complete newcomer to Overwatch and you don’t already have one, you’ll also need to create a Battle.net account.
